Your responsibilities:

Perform the complete payroll cycle.
Produce and issue Records of Employment, T4, Relevé 1.
Maintain records and detailed documentation of payroll functions for internal and external audit.
Ensure pay equity is maintained.
Produce various reports (CNESST, Workforce, FTE, Budget, Statistics Canada, vacations, etc.) and participate in various periodic payroll analyses.
Develop and maintain the annual payroll budget (LE).
Administer and maintain employee files and respond to payroll inquiries.
Administer group insurance and pension enrollments.
Communicate information on benefits and RRSP programs to employees and act as a resource person.
Participate in assigned special projects.

Profile required:
Certificate/diploma in administration or related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in Canadian payroll practices and the complete payroll cycle
Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field
Strong analytical and time management skills
Customer-oriented, autonomous, meticulous with a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel intermediate or advanced)
Experience working with accounting and payroll software (Dayforce - an asset)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French and English.
