My name is Melissa, I am a finance, accounting and payroll recruitment consultant. I hold permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal area.
My client, a manufacturing group located in Ville St Laurent is looking for a temporary project accountant for 6 months whose tasks will be:
* Complete the implementation of our annual budget for our new ERP (Business Central).
* Monthly accounts
* Assist with the S-RED claims process.
* Comply with all provincial and federal accounting and financial regulations of the company.
* Work with members of the current accounting team and support them in the implementation of various projects.
* Participate in the preparation phase of our next initial public offering (IPO)
* Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing various presentations
* Work with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze and report financial data.
* Enter entries in the journal or general ledger.
* Assist with tax preparation, audits, and identification and resolution of discrepancies.
* Use accounting software and enter information into company files or databases, ensuring all financial documents are complete and accurate.
Required profile
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
* Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
* Fluency in spoken and written English required
