Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, a technical support analyst.
This is a permanent position, 100% face-to-face and you must have a valid driving license for occasional trips. A company car will be made available.

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent, 100% en présentiel et il faut avoir un permis de conduire valide pour quelques déplacements occasionnels. Une voiture de fonction sera mise à disposition.

- Provide front-line customer support, including users, suppliers and colleagues. This involves managing and tracking service requests, as well as analyzing and resolving reported information technology issues. These issues may include password reset, software related issues, hardware issues such as computers, copiers, cameras, audio conferencing, internet connectivity, IT security, cyber attacks, WIFI , IP telephony, etc.

- Perform installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, maintenance and repairs of users' hardware, software and mobile devices. This concerns in particular computers, printers, smartphones, tablets, IP desk phones and any other equipment related to information technology.

- Provide front-line support for the prevention of threats and cyberattacks, including the installation and configuration of antivirus, antispam, anti-malware software, as well as management of potential attacks.
- Deploy, maintain and support point of sale systems and hardware, including ticketing, retail, catering, parking, IMAX and others, as well as associated online sales and web content configurations.
- Fix minor network connectivity issues.
- Manage user network accounts, email accounts, mobile device accounts, systems access and associated security for all employee-related changes, including adding, modifying and deleting accounts.
- Coordinate with third party vendors/service providers to upgrade information technology equipment covered by servicing agreements.
- Provide various forms of user support, including installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, operating systems and office productivity software

- Relevant college or university diploma in information technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of information technology, particularly in customer service.
- Deep understanding of home computing, mobile device management, point of sale, printers and software components.
- General knowledge of network environments including load boards, switches, routers, board storage, Wi-Fi and other network transmission equipment.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat/Sign and Windows operating systems.
- Practical knowledge of administering VMWare, MS-Exchange, Check Point and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager solutions.
- Obtained or pursued appropriate Microsoft certifications.
- Mastery of French/English bilingualism.
