Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, an IT technician on a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension and becoming permanent. The position is mainly on-site and requires occasional travel as needed.
* Provide first and second level support for incidents reported by users, concerning the office and telephone environment.
* Respond to service requests and provide support to technicians in the management of the office and telephone environment.
* Analyze incidents, identify problems and propose solutions to resolve them.
* Train users on new technologies and IT developments.
* Propose fixes and improve existing documents and procedures.
* Coordinate the inventory of IT equipment (computers, mobile phones, tablets).
* Collaborate with team members and the IT manager to identify improvement opportunities and propose fixes in terms of support, procedures and management of the office environment.
* Provide support to the network administrator in the accomplishment of his tasks.
* Carry out, if necessary, any other related tasks.
* College diploma in office automation or IT technology
* At least three (3) years of relevant experience in office and IT support within an IT department.
* Excellent experience with the Windows 10 operating system.
* Excellent experience in Office administration, including the 365 cloud version.
* Experience with Active Directory.
* Knowledge of the Microsoft cloud environment (OneDrive, Azure AD, etc.) an asset
* Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS an asset.
* Interpersonal communication skills.

* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Bilingual French-English
