I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in architectural cabinetry, located in Montréal-Est, a Cabinetmaking Production Foreman - Day shift 40H/week.
Your role
Reporting to the Chairman of the company, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Supervising a team of 5 people
- Planning and allocating tasks to employees
- Determining manufacturing methods
- Responding to technical issues and questions relating to manufacturing
- Identify ways to contribute to employees' professional development
- Prepare solid wood and derived materials for shaping
- Carry out cabinetmaking assemblies and ornaments
- Travel to customer sites
- Other related tasks

Our ideal candidate has a technical background and excellent interpersonal skills, enabling him/her to be very efficient in his/her work. This is a person who enjoys working in a family-run, SME-type company.
Your profile
- At least 4 years' experience in cabinet-making
- DES or DEC in a similar field
- Experience in team supervision a big plus
- Open to profiles specialising in cabinet-making only
Salary
60k$ to 75K$ depending on experience
