Your position
I am currently recruiting an Engineering Manager for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the transportation sector located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Permanent position 40 hours per week - face-to-face
Reporting to the VP Operations, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Leading the engineering team in Quebec and abroad, developing potential
- Supervise vehicle development at all stages of projects
- Develop innovative approaches to ensure the technological competitiveness of products
- Ensure lasting relationships with customers and suppliers
- Work with other departments to ensure optimization of existing products and integrations, in line with safety and performance standards and global objectives.
- Ensure proper management of deadlines, budgets, quality, and human and technical resources
- Analyze performance and work to improve process efficiency

Your profile
-Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or other relevant field, PMP or Business Administration an asset
-Bilingual French - English
-Experience in the transportation industry
-Experience in managing multicultural teams
-Proficiency in Office suite and CAD tools
- Salary: $120k - $140k depending on experience
- 40h/week position. Full insurance, company RRSP and other benefits.
