Your role
I am currently recruiting for one of my cllient in the manufacturing domain, located in Chambly, a Mechanical engineering director Position 40 hours/week
Reporting to the VP Engineering, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Take part in the management of R&D projects
- Managing a Team of 6 persons
- Structuring department procedures
- Ensure departmental efficiency
- Oversee financial, scheduling and strategic aspects
- Support technical teams in their day-to-day tasks to streamline processes
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure smooth project closure
- Follow up projects with customers and internal teams
- Monitor technological and competitive developments
- Supervise the team
- Collaborate with all company departments
- Other tasks related to project management, product development and department growth

Votre profil
- 5 to 8 years years' experience in a management position
- Experience in renewable energies an asset
-Experience with lithium battery products, an asset
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual English/French
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Title ING member OIQ
- Salary: $110k - $130k depending on experience
