Your function
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a Quality Engineer - Permanent position 40 hours per week.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Carry out quality actions to resolve technical problems
- Provide input for continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and process performance (corrective and preventive actions, suppliers, audits).
- Support quality assurance teams as a technical advisor
- Support the manufacturing team, gathering, planning and organizing teams around quality management.
- Act as lead auditor for internal audits of systems, processes and products
- Introduce quality tools (control, mapping, matrices, etc.) and work with the various departments to improve the detection and resolution of non-conformities.
- Support the Quality Manager in planning audit strategies and identifying training needs.

Your profile
-At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
-Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or other relevant training
-OIQ member: CPI or Titre Ing
-Fluency in spoken and written French and English
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, internal audits, problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
-Knowledge of manufacturing principles, mechanical and electrical engineering
-Proficiency in Office suite
- Salary: $70k - $90k depending on experience
Weekday position, permanent and face-to-face, full insurance and company RRSP.
