Hello! My name is Leila, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Supply, a specialized staffing agency with recognized expertise in supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for leading the purchasing team and enhancing internal processes. You'll play a key role in strategic procurement management, supplier relations, and the continuous improvement of departmental operations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes and ensure their successful implementation;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (maintenance, production, laboratory) to redesign warehouse organization;
  • Optimize receiving procedures to minimize unnecessary handling;
  • Prepare and manage RFPs for specific services or procurement needs;
  • Analyze supplier proposals and recommend the best options based on defined criteria (cost, quality, timelines, proximity);
  • Draft or revise supplier contracts as needed;
  • Support technical teams with equipment procurement projects;
  • Manage the purchasing and reception of raw materials;
  • Renegotiate or renew existing agreements when appropriate;
  • Identify and assess potential new suppliers based on operational requirements;
  • Contribute to the implementation of projects with high economic or operational value;
  • Track performance through relevant reports and KPIs;
  • Ensure compliance with audit recommendations;
  • Keep departmental documentation and supplier records up to date.

College diploma in a relevant field;
3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role;
Experience in team management and negotiation is a strong asset;
Solid knowledge of technical purchasing (equipment, maintenance parts, raw materials);
Strong analytical skills, excellent synthesis ability, and autonomy;
Leadership, priority management, attention to detail, and adaptability;
Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken;
Comfortable in a dynamic, unionized environment with shifting priorities.
