I'm currently working with one of my clients specializing in transportation in North America. Located in the east end of Montreal, this company is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Director.

We are looking for a dynamic Director to lead our warehouse and logistics division in the Montreal area. Your mission will be to ensure the achievement of business objectives through optimal management of operations, including receiving, product management and delivery to customers.

Responsibilities :

-P&L responsibility for a warehouse of over 20,000 sq. ft. and 250,000 sq. ft. outside.
-Close collaboration with management and teams.
-Implementation and optimization of operating systems.
-Administration and reconciliation of physical inventory.
-Regular interaction with customers.
-Recruitment, training and coaching of management personnel.
-Performance monitoring and formal appraisals.
-Management of HR practices and labor relations.
-Development of team competencies.
-Behavior model aligned with corporate values.
-Continuous updating on industry trends.
-Collaboration with suppliers for materials and equipment.

Requirements :

-Bilingual (French/English)
-College diploma/bachelor's degree in business management with a concentration in operations management, material management or equivalent;
-Logistics management designation CITT or P. Log. Designation preferred;
-5 to 7 years distribution experience in a warehouse environment;
-2-3 years management experience;
-Knowledge of the shipping and transportation industry is preferred;
-Excellent knowledge of WMS & Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word);


PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
