Job Description:

Location: In-Office at Waterloo King

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Case Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks related to document management, mail distribution, and administrative support.

What will you do?

  • Manage all aspects of mail and courier services, including returned mail and hard copy settlement documents
  • Printing and mailing letters
  • Manage imaging tasks
  • Handle Policy Mail and Structured Settlements offers
  • Coordinate the processing and pickup of cheques
  • Fulfill administrative requests from Case Managers and the High Net Worth (HNW) team.
  • Sending supplies to Case Managers, HNW, and Underwriting teams.
  • Handling fax requests from other insurance companies

What do you need to succeed?

  • Customer service or administrative experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred skills

  • Experience with managing mail and courier services
  • Familiarity with handling cheques, including processing and deposit procedures
  • Proficiency with document management, imaging and fax database operations

Unique Requirements

  • As the role is in-office, the selected candidate must be available to work full-time and commute to the Waterloo King office.
  • Depending on work volumes, overtime may be required.
  • Vacation time may be limited during peak periods to ensure adequate coverage is maintained.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
