Job Description:

As a member of the ITIL Change Management team, you will assist in the day to day management of the change management system, Change Approval Board and supporting Service Management Experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with IT service providers, infrastructure and application team subject matter experts and business areas to ensure IT changes are effectively planned for, documented and executed with success.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and foster communication between various individual people, teams, and organizations
  • Proven ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work independently / strong organizational and time-management skills
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundations certification
  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Key responsibilities will include the day to day management of: Change Management queue, weekly reporting
  • Intake - the Mail-in database - to evaluate questions, input, change associations etc
  • Support Change Approval Board process and facilitate approval discussions
  • Support Problem Review process and Post-Implementation Review process
  • Identify and support implementation of enhancements to the Change Management and Service Management processes overall

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
