SLC Management offers a mix of in-office and virtual work where our employees are empowered to do their best. Generally, employees are expected to work three or more days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.

Job Description:

What Is in It for You:

  • Support development of annual headcount budget

  • Support development and maintenance of notional headcount allocation process

  • Lead project to streamline and drive automation of headcount reporting

  • Support initiative to expand scope of reporting to include deeper understanding of affiliate people related expenses

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Annual budget process
  • Support development of annual budget for people related expenses including the development of “what if” scenarios to support decision making
  • Reconciliations of actual to budget on a quarterly basis; preparation of forecasts to support management decision making

Expense Management Reporting and Analysis
  • Provide support for the preparation of quarterly reporting on headcount reporting metrics including support roll forwards

  • Support the development of monthly and quarterly management reporting packages to communicate expense results

  • Allocation models for people related expenses

  • Updating and refinement as needed for annual budget setting process across business groups to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of allocations

Ad-hoc project related

  • Support an initiative to review current processes to report on headcount, with a focus on enhancements to drive further automation leveraging system tools (e.g. Hyperion/SAP)

  • Lead a review & design of a potentially new automated allocation process, considering potential system enhancements and client requirements

  • Enhance and build out consolidated reporting across the broader SLC platform leveraging existing and potential additional information from affiliates

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal influencing and team- work activity

  • Attention to detail at multiple layers in expense management framework

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office

  • Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion strongly preferred

  • Strong project management and prioritization skills

  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or 5 years of equivalent work experience particularly in accounting or Finance

  • Proficient with financial reporting systems and tools - MS Office products, Hyperion and./or SAP

SLC Management is a regulated business, and this means that there are certain financial reporting and trading preclearance requirements for all employees. Successful candidates will be required to declare personal investment accounts and securities investments as well as seek preclearance on future transactions including those of household members.

Salary Range

76,000/76 000 - 125,000/125 000

The Base Pay range is for the primary location of the job. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
