POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the full-time permanent position of Business Education Teacher at Garden Valley Collegiate effective September 2, 2025.
Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba's beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Strong consideration will be given to those applicants with a business education background. Courses such as Creative Promotions, Personal Finance, and other will be taught in this position.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check
- Ability to relate to the school community and community value base.

Garden Valley Collegiate is a grades 9-12 high school that is located on Main Street in the city of Winkler. We have an estimated student population of 650, a teaching staff of almost 50 and a support staff of 25. GVC is a thriving high school learning community that offers a variety of programs in academics, fine arts, athletics and technology.
