The Board of Trustees of Garden Valley School Division expects every teacher to teach diligently and faithfully in accordance with the contractual agreement with the Board and in compliance with The Public Schools Act and regulations of the Province of Manitoba. Applicants who have prior experience and/or training in this field will be given careful consideration.REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate Experience and/or training in the advertised position. Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check Ability to relate to the school community and community value base. Experience with early years numeracy and literacy instruction is an asset. The above represents general core qualifications for the position and may vary as necessary to the operations of the school/program. SCHOOL INFORMATION: Border Valley School is a K-8 school located in a rural setting, a short 20-minute drive south of the City of Winkler. The school serves a number of smaller communities and rural homes in the surrounding area. Border Valley has a student population of approximately 140 students, a teaching staff of 13 and a support staff of 11.
