Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent day school from JK-12 that is a caring and thriving community. As one of a few IB World Continuum schools in Canada offering three International Baccalaureate Programmes, GNS is proud of its unique 'IB Advantage': a 21st-Century education which educates the whole child and creates global thinkers.

Our Junior School is a remarkable place to work and learn. Our beautiful new facilities and oceanfront backdrop is only a small measure of what makes us special. 30-35 hours/week

What You’ll Bring

The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-directed individual with excellent interpersonal skills to establish strong connections with students, parents and colleagues. You will be highly collegial, a collaborative team player and have a strong aptitude in inclusive instruction that supports various learning styles. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a strong background in supporting literacy at the junior school level is strongly preferred. Teaching experience or an Educational Assistant Certificate would also be considered a strong asset.
