Position Description:

We have an excellent opportunity for an AWS Developer to join our team to be part of a team that is passionate about cloud technologies and has a strong background in AWS services and integrations while building close relationships with both client and CGI team members.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop robust Kafka/Streaming integrations to efficiently ingest and process data.
• Implement and manage AWS networking components including VPCs and security configurations.
• Develop and maintain applications using AWS services such as AppSync, API Gateway (REST APIs), Lambda, CDN/CloudFront, and Redis.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement GraphQL and REST API solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in Python and Java.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Identify and resolve issues related to AWS services and integrations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 4+ years of experience with AWS networking and services.
• Hands-on experience with AppSync, API Gateway (REST APIs), Lambda, CDN/CloudFront, and Redis.
• Proficient in Python and/or Java.
• Experience with Kafka/Streaming integrations for data ingestion.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with GitLab CI will be a plus.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
