Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Project Manager in CGI Global Infrastructure Services Project Management practice, your involvement in project delivery and transitions is to contribute to project success. Your responsibilities will be:

· Achieve the expected margin or profitability of the project
· Deliver end-to-end projects, including system integration, application and infrastructure development and migration
· Document and assess the impact of change requests to the project in a timely manner
· Ensure sound management of your project by mitigating risks and developing a resolution plan to resolve issues
· Ensure that your projects are auditable (applying CGI quality processes)
· Participate in the evaluation of client satisfaction throughout the delivery of services for your projects
· Obtain, validate and understand the cost model and profit margin associated with each project assigned to you
· Determine the functional structure of the project, prepare work plans for scheduling and resource planning
· Obtain the mandate and approvals from all stakeholders (Client and suppliers)
· Verify that the hours billed by members are dedicated to the appropriate tasks, and this, in accordance with the project budget
· Conduct client satisfaction surveys upon project completion and obtain approval
· Establish project work plans including resources (1-5)
· Conduct various project execution activities, such as establishing a project plan and work plan, creating and maintaining a risk log, establishing a communication plan and an issue and resolution log and a change request log
· Plan, organize, and manage the activities necessary to achieve project objectives, quality of deliverables, client, team and management satisfaction
· Experience in project delivery, including agile and waterfall methodologies
· Effective use of CGI methodology

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Essential Qualifications
· Strong communication skills to provide relevant and accurate information to the appropriate audience (client, delivery and/or operational teams).
· Ability to apply lessons learned from previous experience
· Proficient in analysis and problem solving
· Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to work with the team
· Proficient in client relations
· Excellence in gathering the necessary assistance to develop a functional project management plan.
· Strong attention to detail, as well as proven organizational skills.
· Strong knowledge and prowess in the use of modern information and communication technologies to support projects
· Ability to be proactive and independent, and to be interdependent with the team
· 2 years of experience in a similar role and studies in the IT field

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
