We are offering our Registered Nursing staff an opportunity to participate in an on-site

Critical Care Course + practicum FULLY paid for!

What we’re offering:

  • FULLY paid Critical Care Course to completed through the Michener Institute of Education.
  • In-class and practicum hours will be FULLY paid for at your normal hourly rate.
  • The opportunity to develop your critical care skills and work alongside a team of highly trained nurses, physicians and more!
  • Following successful completion of the course, you will join our Intensive Care Unit team to support our critical care needs.

What you need to know:

  • Corporate Orientation to Halton Healthcare is held August 19-23, 2024
  • In-class Instruction will take place virtually along with Clinical Practicum shifts throughout the winter and early spring.
  • Must be available to attend the full duration of the course commencing: August 26th, 2024- November 8, 2024
  • Following successful completion of the Critical Care course and practicum, you will provide a 24-month commitment to your assigned department at Halton Healthcare.
  • No previous critical care experience required!

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

    Salary: $39.07 - $56.00 per hour
