Job Description: In Collaboration with Physicians and the Primary Care Team, the Nurse Practitioner will Provide Primary Health Care Services to Several Communities. This Includes: Health Promotion and Protection, Disease and Injury Prevention, Provision of Supportive, Instructive, Treatment and Emergency Services; Collaboration with and Referral to other Health Care Professionals; Conducting Community Needs Assessments and Participating in Evaluative Projects. The Incumbent Reports to The Director of Primary Care for the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Certificate in approved advanced clinical nursing course or equivalent
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Competencies
- Advanced - Communication skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in health promotion and prevention strategies
- Knowledge in program and community development process
Other Information
- Ability and willingness work evenings/weekends as required
- Home Base - Blaine Lake
- Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as RN (NP)
- Travel required to provide services to sites within the area
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
