Elementary Generalist- Grade 2

Good Shepherd School is recruiting for a full-time Temporary Grade 2 Teacher starting October 15 - April 30th, 2025.

The ideal candidate will be an elementary generalist. The assignment will include teaching all subject areas in the Elementary Program of Studies and potentially other assignments in the K-6 environment aligned with the candidate's skill set.

The successful candidate ideally will have knowledge and experience with literacy, numeracy, Indigenous students, and children's social and emotional development and mental health. The successful candidate requires proficiency in educational technology, an understanding of assessment for learning and is eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.

The candidate must be willing to work in a rural Catholic community environment, be a team player, and collaborate, communicate, and work together. Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
