St. Thomas More is recruiting for a Secondary Social Studies and CTS Teacher for the 2024-25 School Year.

Course assignment includes courses in Senior (Grades 10-12) Humanities, primarily Social Studies, CTS and potentially other assigned duties appropriate to the candidate's skill set within the school environment.

The successful candidate will have training, knowledge and experience in secondary humanities, social studies/history, and an understanding of assessment for learning. The successful candidate must be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta. Knowledge and understanding of Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, and educational technology proficiency would be considered assets. The successful candidate will be required to support students with individualized program plans, enrichment, modifications and/or accommodations for their learning. The successful candidate must be willing to live in a rural Catholic community environment, be a team player, and be willing to collaborate, communicate, and work with colleagues. Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
