ABOUT THE CLIENT

Impact Recruitment has partnered with an established investment firm in downtown Vancouver that has been in the business for over a decade! Currently, they are looking to add an experienced CFO to their team! The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the owner, the CFO will be responsible for managing a team of 4+ accounting professionals, some of the duties include but aren’t limited too:

• Mentor and lead the accounting team
• Oversee the financial statements, audits, budget, payroll and cashflow functions for multiple entities.
• Work in collaboration with the president to get financing from the banks and for quarterly bank reviews.
• Work in collaboration with the external lawyers for tax planning and analysis.
• Manage relationship with investors and investment solutions
• Manage and oversee different group of companies and look after financial systems implementations and upgrades.

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 10+ accounting experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Public company experience is required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $160,000 to $190,000
• Extended health and dental
• Discretionary bonus
• 4 to 6 weeks vacation
