Estimator

Our client specialises mainly on TI and new build commercial and institutional projects, with some residential TI projects at times. Project values usually range from $5M - $30M. They are based in Langley and have projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Great opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that continues to grow year on year and promotes from within. You will be estimating on projects that can include Tis for banks, schools and other commercial settings or new build projects such as car dealerships and dental offices.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• You will be reporting to the construction manager, and your duties will include the following:
• Gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.
• Identify and select metrics to generate accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to collect critical information.
• Complete project estimates, including site visits, quantity take-offs, pricing, and presenting findings to management.
• Analyze data to generate forecasts.
• Perform ongoing trade risk assessments.
• Prepare comprehensive reports or bid proposals for submission to stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years experience estimating on projects ranging from $2M - $30M
• Experience with preconstruction, tendering and construction management
• Proficient using Builder Connect, Pro-Est, Excel and Procore

COMPENSATION

• $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
• Yearly discretionary bonuses
