About: Our client are a dynamic and growing financial planning firm specializing in providing tailored financial solutions to high-net-worth clients, particularly doctors. Our firm manages a substantial book of business, generating significant revenue through assets under management and insurance product placements.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paraplanner to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, particularly life and accident, and some experience with investments. As a Paraplanner, you will support our financial advisors by gathering data, building recommendations, and developing action plans for our clients. This role involves working primarily with existing clients, conducting around 10 client reviews per month, and assisting with the onboarding of approximately 20 new clients per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze client data to build tailored financial recommendations.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans and action plans based on client information.
  • Conduct approximately 10 client reviews per month, ensuring ongoing alignment with financial goals.
  • Assist with the onboarding process of 20 new clients annually.
  • Maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, primarily doctors.
  • Support advisors in generating revenue through assets under management and insurance product placements.
  • Utilize Precise FP software for financial planning and data management.
  • Stay updated on the latest financial products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for client meetings.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate client records and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales advisor and other team members to ensure a high level of client service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is ideal.
  • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in insurance, particularly life and accident insurance.
  • Experience with investments and financial planning.
  • Technically savvy with proficiency in Precise FP software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
