ABOUT THE CLIENT

Impact recruitment has partnered with an award-winning real estate developer that is known for its forward-thinking approach that makes them stand out from the rest! Currently, they are leading some of the largest and most exciting projects in North America and are looking to add an experienced CPA to join their real estate investment team.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the director, the senior accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Prepare annual/quarterly financial statements and consolidation working papers.
• Manage monthly/quarterly cashflow statements and work in collaboration with external auditors.
• Manage full cycle accounting work for multiple entities, including month end close processes.
• Prepare annual tax returns as well as file monthly GST/PST returns.
• Process and analyze any complex ad hoc transactions.
• Oversee full spectrum of annual financial reporting, compliance, and corporate tax returns.

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experienced in preparing consolidated financial statements.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary expectations: $85,000 to $100,000
• 3 weeks vacation
