Dettson is an entity of the Innovair Solutions group, standing out as a company and employer of choice in Quebec, with a strong focus on the well-being and development of its employees. Firmly established in Sherbrooke for over 50 years, we specialize in heating and air conditioning to ensure comfort in North American homes. Our manufacturing process, carried out entirely in our facility, is based on steel transformation.

Within the sales team, the position incumbent will be primarily responsible for promoting our products to our existing and potential customers.

Your responsibilities:
  • Visit distributors, HVAC contractors, engineers, architects and consumers to maintain and develop lasting business relationships; (NS, NS, PEI and NL)
  • To meet the needs of customers by advising and training them on our products, their installation and use.
  • Participate in close collaboration with the inside sales department, in the bidding process.
  • Ensure quality customer service and after-sales service.
  • Participate in promotional programs and new product launches.
  • Monitor the market in terms of competition and customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events.
  • Install and maintain displays and showrooms at our customers' sites.
Qualifications:
  • Hold a degree in a technical field (engineering, electricity, HVAC, sales) or equivalent professional experience, or a combination of both.
  • Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of sales experience.
  • Experience of sales in HVAC distribution channel is highly regarded.
  • Proven track records of continued sales growth and success.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with customers.
  • This position requires occasional travel;
  • Valid driver's License.
  • Reside in Monton NB or surrounding area preferred.

  • Results driven.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs.
  • Excellent organizational skill.
  • Effective time management.
  • Good understanding of HVAC distribution channels.
