Maintenance Worker

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker V to join our dedicated and supportive team at 100 Mile District General Hospital.

What will you work on?
As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll take on a wide range of skilled duties approaching the journeyman level in trades such as electrical, plumbing, and painting-all while ensuring work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. You’ll support the upkeep, improvement, and safety of our facility by performing repairs, renovations, and maintenance tasks. In addition to your hands-on work, you’ll also provide guidance and supervision to other Maintenance Workers and designated staff, helping to lead day-to-day operations and contribute to a collaborative, high-functioning team environment.

This position works Monday to Friday day shifts from 08:00 to 16:00.

Qualfications
• Grade 10, plus four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
