What You'll Work On:
We're seeking a passionate individual who is eager to work at the forefront of healthcare and advance their career. In this role, the Pharmacist provides distribution pharmacy services by interpreting medication orders/prescriptions, assessing prescriptions for therapeutic suitability, and ensuring that medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed, compounded, and labeled, with complete dispensing records. The role involves communicating with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members for prescription clarification and problem resolution, and providing instructions on proper use, administration, storage, disposal, and potential side effects of medications. Additionally, the Pharmacist participates in data collection for medication use evaluation projects, implements dispensary-based medication safety initiatives, engages in quality control activities, contributes to internal publications, and participates in clinical drug trials in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Qualfications
• Current registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
