About Us:
Overlander Extended Care in Kamloops, B.C., is actively seeking an experienced Plumber to join our dedicated and supportive team. Committed to providing high-quality care, our facility values individuals with plumbing expertise to contribute to our mission of excellence.

This is a regional position and will require travel and some overnight stays.

Your Role:
Aligned with our organization's vision and values, this position involves skilled plumbing work at the journeyman level, including installation, construction, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and service of plumbing equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. You will review work requests, consult with user departments on project requirements, interpret blueprints and specifications to determine materials and equipment needed, estimate project costs, and perform operational and safety risk assessments. Additionally, you'll arrange work schedules with user departments and assemble necessary supplies, tools, and equipment for each project.

Work Schedule:
This is a permanent full-time position and works Monday to Friday day shifts with every other Friday off.

Qualfications
• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Plumber, Class B level Gas Fitter’s License with electrical endorsement recognized by the Province of British Columbia. Two (2) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
