Position Summary
We have a relief part-time (0.41) Community Rehabilitation Assistant opening in Kelowna, B.C. This position is expected to run until JUNE 2026 or the return of the current incumbent. This position works Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00-16:00. This position is assigned to the Seniors Health & Wellness Centre at CHSC on Doyle Avenue, working with a geriatric specialty team and seeing clients in their homes, or onsite to carry out delegated Rehabilitation programs.

About the position:
Under the clinical direction of the Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, the Community Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Community Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs, and assists the Therapist in monitoring and evaluating client’s progression. The Community Rehabilitation Assistant assists clients with activities of daily living, and implements group and individual programs in clients’ homes and other community sites.

Qualfications
Graduate of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, plus one year’s recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
