Salary: $59,185 - $117,433 (based on previous experience and QECO rating)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The TVI will:
will work exclusively with a student with blind/low vision needs
provide direction instruction of the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC)
teach braille
incorporate programming goals provided by consultants from W. Ross MacDonald School for the Blind
locate and prepare necessary manipulatives required for instruction and programming
act as a sighted guide for student
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Ontario Teacher qualifications required. Teacher of the Blind Part 1 qualifications required, or willing to obtain Part 1 qualifications during the 2024-25 school year.
