Interventions and strategies will prioritize safety, rapport, and televisibility. The PBIS-C will work to ensure practices, interventions, and processes based in ABA/PBIS are trauma-informed, grounded in relationship and rapport, and ensure respect for students, particularly vulnerable and equity seeking populations of students who exhibit unsafe, at-risk, tier three problem behaviour(s).

The second role of the PBIS-C is to plan and lead skill development groups, which will primarily focus on supporting students in meeting their identified social goals. Groups may take several different formats depending on the age of the students and their needs. Examples include but are not limited to, facilitating PEERS® and LEGO® Therapy groups for students from grades K-12. Training will be provided as required.
