We are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious professional to be part of the National Tax team. Reporting to the Managing Director of Tax Strategy and Operations, this role will work directly with business stakeholders on a variety of exciting initiatives that will enable the effective execution of Tax's national strategic priorities.

We are looking for someone who is:

What you will do

  • Independently manage a variety of tax initiatives to support the deployment of the Tax CMP’s priorities. Define initiatives with limited information, create a plan and execute on it.
  • Develop and manage project plans to effectively align scope, time, quality, resources, risk, communication and procurement in a manner that enables highly coordinated execution and control
  • Work with project team members to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are completed
  • Prepare high quality deliverables according to stakeholder requirements through creative and analytical thinking, market analysis and a genuine drive to provide great professional service
  • Communicate (written and verbal) findings, recommendations and other deliverables to internal clients including technical and business communication to management through the preparation of reports, presentations, analyses and other deliverables
  • Support the development of agendas and materials for key meetings and events. Responsible for tracking and following up on actions and outcomes
  • Analyze reports and draw conclusions to drive business decisions and plans
  • Develop strong relationships with internal business enablement functions such as HR, Marketing, and Communications

What you bring to the role

  • University Degree in a related discipline. This may include an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Management/Business Administration, and Communications
  • Proven ability to take ownership of deliverables, bringing a business consultant mindset combined with clarity and speed of thought
  • History of cross-functional collaboration and leading projects that deliver results via people that you do not directly manage; exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Proven relationship development and project management skills in complex stakeholder management environments
  • Very strong PowerPoint skills – good at creating presentations that convey information to senior stakeholders in an informative, clear and professional way
  • Works effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands
