The Client Administration function is a vital part of the firm’s Business Enablement Services and is focused on achieving client service excellence by delivering timely, high quality products, and encouraging an environment that increases both the staff and client experience.

 

KPMG is looking for an Engagement Specialist who can provide support on a range of activities to ensure a high-quality product.


What you will do

 

The engagement analyst (EA) role will support their local office/business leadership team in achieving key business metrics.

 

EAs will work, using IBS (SAP), alongside the firm's administrative and billing staff to ensure that the integrity of the data remains strong, firm members are well supported in understanding and processing complex transactions, and the firm’s leadership has the best possible financial information to properly evaluate the performance of their respective business units.

 

  • Responsible for processing of Engagement Management transactions as well as any non-ordinary types of transactions within the SAP environment
  • Conduct various analyses/reports with respect to client accounts as requested by Client groups, Manager, Financial Analysis, or Business Leadership
  • Be responsible for the monitoring of local office/product lockup (A/R and WIP inventory) and the reporting of same to local office leadership as well as the respective partners and managers
  • Regularly review daily reporting information to ensure compliance with local office policies with respect to share-and-share alike, minimum ERPs and closeouts with large impacts
  • Working with their Manager to regularly review the integrity of the data
  • Responsible for educating the Administrative Assistants with respect to the Engagement Management system as well as being a source of reference for the Administrative assistants with respect to the Billings and other SAP related matters
  • Provide back-up support to the Billing Delivery Center team with regards to their operational procedures around client billings in order to manage high volumes, as needed

What you bring to the role

  • Combination of education/experience in data processing, business and administration.
  • 1-2 years previous experience in finance or data analysis
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong word processing skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat etc.
  • Experince with SAP and the ability to provide insight based on data
  • Excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and function well under stress, while prioritizing tasks and workload.
  • Resilient to work pressures and able to adapt to tight deadlines while multitasking and producing high quality work.
  • Service and detail oriented, takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Post-secondary education in Administration or Business an asset.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

In British Columbia, the expected base salary range for this position is $46,500 to $70,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
