KPMG in Canada is looking for a Communications Coordinator to work closely with the Strategic Communications team on a variety of programs. This position is an 18-month contract with the option to extend.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, External Communications, the Communications Coordinator will be engaged in the development and execution of a wide variety of communications programs that support the firm’s strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of writing/communications experience to the role. Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and strong writing skills are highly important.
What you will do
- Write, review, edit, post and measure results for a variety of communications to the corporate intranet and website
- Coordinate translation and distribution of communications materials
- Analyze data from a variety of sources and create simple reports
- Work with outside vendors to oversee and support contract requirements
- Support Communications team members on a variety of programs and initiatives
- Become the subject matter expert on various software platforms
- Monitor news stories and track media coverage

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support KPMG employees nationally and will be required to communicate with English-speaking colleagues. This individual will be required to create documentation and share guidance to those in English-speaking provinces.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $81,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
