Mechanical Technician

Kryos, a growing company, is looking for a mechanical technician for our shop at Mississauga.

The company has been part of the heavy vehicle refrigeration industry and specialised in small vans ( direct drive ) refrigeration units.

Under the supervision of our service manager, the mechanical technician will work within our service department. Candidates will work on incoming service calls, both on the road and in the shop. Among others, their tasks include:

Job description:

• Travelling on the road with our service truck to manage incoming service calls;
• Able to perform trouble shooting, estimation and repairs in all in shop and over the road services calls;
• Install and uninstall refrigeration units on heavy trucks and direct drive product.

Working conditions :

• Competitive salary based on experience
• On site or on road, Monday to Friday
• 40 hours/week
• 8 hours shift / schedule 8:00 - 16:30
• Bonus for tools
• Group benefits with employer contribution after 3 months
• Collective RRSP with employer contribution after 3 months
• Bonus for evening/night shift and weekend service calls (if applicable).
