Job Summary

As a Technician for our Clinical Laboratories team located in Senneville, you will perform technical activities and follow directives from the study/phase plan and the procedures. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform the preparation and the analysis of samples
  • Perform the quality control procedure and maintenances on different instruments
  • Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to preset schedules.
  • Use a computer system for accurate and detailed data collection.
  • Participate in training.
  • Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to
  • the GLP, SOP and health and safety rules.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Key Elements

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:


• Diploma in a Science program
• Good attention to details
• Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
• Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
  • Salary: $23/hrs
  • Annual bonus based on performance plan
  • Flexible schedule, depending on the needs you must be available to work during days, evening, weekends, and holidays. Regular working hours are 8 am to 6:15 pm, but may be subject to change depending on current studies
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
