Production Worker (Splitter)

• Starting wage at $19.00/hour + bonus

• Train on days - Then Afternoon shift Monday / Thursday 2 pm-12 am

• Vaughan Area

The Company

Our client is a Canadian owned and operated concrete manufacturer that helps to meet the ever-increasing desire of homeowners to beautify their outdoor living spaces with quality made decorative landscapes.

Position Summary

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Working on the line sorting the bricks

• Sort bricks on the line and feed into the tumbling machine

• Work at the end of the line and stack tumbled bricks on to the skid

• Assemble wooden skids/pallets together

Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisor

• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision

• Differentiate between the different types of bricks (size, color, design etc…)

Working Environment:

• Working outside (Construction type environment)

• Fast pace

• Dusty, Noisy Environment

• 10-12 hour shift

• Must wear protective equipment: steel toed boots, eye and ear safety gear
