Liburdi Dimetrics Corp. is an industry leader, specializing in the design and manufacture of welding systems and precision welding power supplies. We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Mechanical Engineering Co-op (Winter 2024).

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to)

• Assisting with machine design work
• Review of the design interaction with other machines and tools in a complex system
• Development of technical documents such as drawings, test procedures and manuals
• Testing of machine performance and functionality

Key Skill Requirements:

• Solutions focused, organized, and project driven
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

Key Education / Experience Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering Technology program
• Experience with Solid Edge or equivalent CAD software
• Availability for a 4 or 8 month co-op position from Jan 2025
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Current registration in a co-op eligible post secondary program
