Sr. Manager, Data Acquisition, Brampton, ON (1 Year Contract)
Travel: Requirement to travel to our various offices in the Greater Toronto Area (including Toronto and North York), from time-to-time, based on project and business needs

In this role you will collaborate with multiple teams including senior stakeholders to understand the type of data that will be beneficial. By prioritizing people development, we incubate talent and thought leadership, which we can then apply across our businesses.

What You’ll Do:

• Management of 3rd party data vendors, ROI assessments and vendor landscape research

• Manage data sharing request and data landing in testing and discovery GCP zone

• Management of data licenses/contacts and budget

• Ensure compliance to contracts and SLA’s of the acquired content

• Support technical troubleshooting of external vendor data assets as a point of contact/liaison between the vendor and Loblaw end users

• Build subject matter expertise in working with numerous external data vendors and service providers, with a focus of reviewing technologies to understand new to market value

• Work closely with business partners from data governance to privacy, legal and EPG

What you Bring:

• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

• Superb technical vendor engagement skills. Must communicate clearly and confidently to quickly solve for technical challenges within the engagement

• Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong detail orientation is essential in this role

• A Team player and self-starter
