What You’ll Be Doing 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Branch Manager to monitor and direct branch operations. 
  • Assist Branch Manager to develop plans to improve branch performance, with a strong focus on driving rental revenues and operational efficiencies.
  • Focus on keeping fleet rental ready through establishing efficient and effective shop flow.
  • Supervise mechanics to ensure priorities are being set and preventative maintenance schedule is being followed.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop branch employees.
  • Follow, enforce and champion company safety policies at the branch level.
  • Strong understanding of all company operating policies and procedures, and enforce compliance.
  • Foster a customer service oriented culture to branch operations.
  • Work closely with all levels of the organization to ensure a team based approach to problem solving.
  • Conduct monthly operating meetings. 

What You’ll Bring to the Team 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the equipment rental /construction industry. 
  • Excellent customer relations skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); Systematics an asset. 
  • Strong supervisory skills. 
  • Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.   
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.   
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
