What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineered drawings with precision.
- Fabricate and repair aluminum structures and equipment using advanced welding techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions and temperature ranges.
- Perform on-site fabrication and repair of structures and equipment as required.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior welders, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of fleet equipment for orders.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in structural fitting and welding, with a focus on aluminum.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in welding aluminum and steel.
- Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). An updated abstract will be required upon request.
- Certifications in SMAW, GMAW, and/or FCAW are highly desirable.
- CWB certification for stick welding is a strong asset.
- Experience with rigging is an asset.
- Strong customer orientation, a willingness to learn, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
- A strong sense of pride in your work and attention to detail.
