Salary Range (Commensurate with experience) :
Group 7, $93,648 to $106,419

The successful candidate will provide system wide leadership for London District Catholic School Board school library initiatives including strategic planning, programing, information literacy, reading engagement, collection management, staff development and the integration of print and digital technologies and services to meet the learning needs of K-12 students.
Duties will include managing the Learning Materials Centre which includes collaborative team building, project management and supervision of central staff who deliver circulation, cataloging and technical services to K-12 classrooms and school libraries. The successful candidate will collaborate with system leaders to establish procedures and effective practices to maximize the school library as an interdisciplinary learning place.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent
Minimum three years of school library experience
Proven supervisory skills involving team leadership and the ability to be self-directed and work independently
Possess a holistic integrated approach toward library services and student learning
Knowledge of and ability to manage integrated library systems, and digital resources
Proven presentation skills and project leading experience
Ability to manage changes, new ideas, technologies and web based educational content
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Budget experience
