GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. EHS Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing EHS KPI’s including injury statistics, workers compensation, EHS projects, sustainability including energy, water, waste, recycling, and other programs across the N.A Region. (Manufacturing, R&D, warehouse & office). This includes reporting/metrics and implementation of projects to drive EHS performance improvement with cross-functional departments, vendors, contractors and/or consultants.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports worker’s comp reporting to the third-party administrator, follow up with injured employee/supervisor, identify return to work/mod duty opportunities and partnering with occupational clinic, corporate WC Claim Team, HR and Legal to facilitate long-term employment solutions.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments & manage change reviews to proactively identify potential risks.
  • Interfaces with internal partners on EHS initiatives including new product, equipment, chemical and process introductions, etc.
  • Tracks, documents and files regulatory reports, incident investigations, waste manifests, SDS and VOC reporting, air quality monitoring and other environmental and safety-related tasks
  • Develops and maintains EHS performance metrics, trend analysis, OSHA reporting to internal, leadership, parent company and other key stakeholders.
  • Hands-on interaction with depts and facilities to conduct inspections, risk assessments and other related prevention activities.
  • Supports implementation of an EHS culture strategy and adapts as necessary to meet changing business needs.
  • Develops reporting, analyzes trends, and makes recommendations to modify and improve HSE practices.
  • Works closely with Facility Center Managers and other HSE (health safety and environmental) regional partners across N.A. to develop a comprehensive HSE Program for the region in partnership with Global HSE.
  • Collaborate across all pillars to ensure EHS is embedded and foundational to WCM.
  • Lead and execute Environment & Energy kaizens & WCM projects as Project/ Technical Team Leader
  • Prepare presentations for findings and recommendations.
  • Other duties assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree in Safety Science, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, Safety & Environmental Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience building, supporting & maintaining Analytical systems including the use of Power BI, SQL and Alteryx
  • Possesses thorough understanding of local, State & Federal EHS requirements.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & other web-based apps and analysis tools
  • Strong organizational, communication skills

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
