IS Consultant - Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

The Opportunity: Specialist in Manufacturing Execution Systems, with relevant knowledge and expertise implementing software applications within shop floor automation environments, with activities that include solution design, data integration architecture, technical configuration, delivery, and operational system process support.

The candidate requires a bachelors degree related to Information Systems, Technology or Industrial Engineering.

• Delivery of system solutions related to manufacturing shopfloor applications and process automation, including full system lifecycle of business process requirements gathering, solution design and build, end-to-end system integration with user acceptance testing and go-live.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and other documentation as required during and after executing on implementation tasks.
• Participate in regular facility / site visits focusing on in-depth understanding of business process requirements, challenges and issues and providing post implementation support.

What Youll Bring:

• Must have 5+ years of industry hands-on experience implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (examples: Wonderware, Siemens, GE, Rockwell/ Factory Talk and others).
• Hands-on expertise with Industry 4.0 methodologies
• Strong knowledge in the design, configuration, and testing of applications.
• Strong understanding of integration procedures of systems and production equipment.
• Working experience in trouble shooting production support issues.
• Good communication skills and outstanding end-user interaction.
