Position Title:Packaging Compliance Coordinator
Department: Food Safety/QA
Location:Bradford Facility
Shift/Start Time:Training will take place between 9:00AM-5:30PM.
Upon completion of training, regular start time will be 7:00 AM /8:00 AM.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Packaging Compliance Coordinator will monitor physical inventory and ensure proper management of inventory in an SAP environment. This position will ensure that accurate packaging inventory is maintained; material rotation and cycle count variances are within established targets and investigate variances to correct errors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for daily requisitioning of ingredients and packaging materials - e.g. films, trays, bags (whole bird and bulk) boxes, labels, seasoning, etc.
  • Maintain stock levels of all packaging materials and seasoning ingredients, execute first-in-first-out (FIFO) policy
  • Manage handling and disposal of obsolete packaging materials
  • Preparation and allocation of packaging materials in alignment with planned Production schedule
  • Follow up on previous day materials consumption and reconcile with product produced
  • Build and maintain processes for directives and inventory lot tracking
  • Support Plant initiatives on Product Traceability, Mock recalls, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Shipment tracing (incoming and outgoing)
  • Monitor all aspects of warehouse transfers and receipts of inventory from other suppliers and distribution centers. Identify and correct errors from recording/invoicing and receiving of warehouse transfers
  • Responsible for verifying physical inventory counts for packaging and ingredients
  • Continually analyze inventory balances and validate that specifications are aligned with Production
  • Confirming receipts and ensuring timely entry into the inventory system
  • Other new duties and responsibilities may be designated as required


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum High school diploma, post-secondary education preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with deliberate attention to detail
  • Strong data entry and computer skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Messenger, etc.
  • Data-driven, excellent comprehension, communication and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated - ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP Systems preferred
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Problem solving skills
  • Process thinking, ability to link systems and floor processes
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in food/beverage manufacturing setting would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for conflict resolution
