Description

- Conduct planned preventive & predictive maintenance Work Orders and keep maintenance records and enter required information into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- As needed Troubleshoot corrective work repairs and install processing pipework fixes and upgrades to allow efficient repair/replacement to occur.
- Actively participate in preventive maintenance WO program on Facility equipment and processing pipe systems daily and provide record keeping of such tasks. Where necessary identify parts required to complete these tasks as follow ups.
- Complete Pipe repairs and system maintenance activities (eg. hot water, brine and cold water systems running from the tank farm to AI holding tanks).
- Ensuring unblocked and secured flow in and around the facility through to waste water plant and sewers.
- Complete Steam pipe upgrades and securing of such systems as required throughout the Facility steam systems.
- General facilities work in the plant with plumbing repairs to Sinks, Eye Wash Stations, Emergency Safety Showers and drain systems as needed to the Waste Water Plant.
- Assist in planning, organizing of work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation) and provide feedback to planners to improve current system of work.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain piping systems and various production systems as needed (eg. vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematic and drawings to determine work procedures and/or order necessary parts and participate knowledge to plant issues.
- Collaborate with Reliability Peers to ensure that all preventive and predictive routines are completed at predetermined intervals.
- Continually analyze and improve the state of current PMs and corrective work orders by participating in weekly meetings with supervision.
- Certified Steam Fitter/Pipe Fitter (307A)
- Certified Plumber (306A/NOC 7251)
- 3+ years experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- 2+ years experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Experience with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems). SAP Knowledge would be an asset.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills in communications and team dynamics
- Strong oral and written communications
