The Near North District School Board is Hiring!
1.0 Permanent Programmer Analyst
Effective Immediately
Location: North Bay Board Office (in person)
Qualifications:
Minimum three-year post-secondary diploma program in computer programming, computer science or software engineering
1 to 3 years experience in a programmer/analyst role
Skills Required :
Proven efficiency and knowledge in the development and use of productivity systems
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a deadline intensive, constantly changing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven analytical and organizational skills
Problem isolation, determination and resolution skills
Technical Knowledge Required :
Strong knowledge of and experience working with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric
Experience working with programing languages C#, ASP.NET MVC 5, Entity Framework 6
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services, Azure DevOps under Microsoft Enterprise Server
Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, XML, Windows Server, Internet Information Services (IIS)
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
Experience with development under WordPress and Microsoft SharePoint platforms
Rate of Pay : $36.54 per hourly (starting rate) with a generous compensation package
