Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Your Impact

As the Superintendent of Site Support, you will lead and optimize site operations, including travel, camp services, transportation, and airport logistics. Your leadership will ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, enhancing the experience for employees and contractors while driving continuous improvement.

Essential Duties
  • Oversee camp operations, catering, transportation, and aviation services.
  • Manage contracts, budgets, and vendor performance to meet KPIs.
  • Lead safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance site logistics and cost efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • 10+ years of experience in site operations, logistics, or camp management (preferably in remote/mining environments).
  • Proven leadership and team development experience.
  • Strong background in contract management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Expertise in safety management and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders effectively.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$145,400 - $175,000/year and additional 25% Short term and 15% Long Term incentives . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
